On Saturday, 10 November 2018 The Australian Golf Club defeated Royal Sydney Golf Club by 13.5 matches to 6.5 matches, winning back the Annual Match trophy. The event is played alternatively at each Club once a year. Each team is comprised of 20 pairings (40 players) playing in a 4BBB Par format, with the winning Club retaining the perpetual trophy until the following year.
The best pairing from The Australian Golf Club was Alan Birdsall (29) & Kerry Osgood (12) who recorded a score of +10 nett. The best pairing from Royal Sydney Golf Club was Daryl Stewart (17) & Hamish Guild (11) who recorded a score of +6 nett, winning on a count back. Each pairing received a $50 voucher for the Golf Shop.
